Não percebi se dizes isso no bom ou no mau sentido...
Como optimista que sou e reconhecendo a veracidade dessa afirmação, posso sempre acrescentar que é na diferença dos indivíduos que se origina algo de bom. Eu chamo-lhe evolução, progressão. E o conceito de "descoberta" suscita algo de maravilhoso. Seja por quem for, e pelo que for.
É sempre algo positivo. Se não somos, aprendemos eclecticamente a ser algo mais.

Algo que tem um bocadinho de cada não equivale a q isso seja mais rico, melhor ou mais profundo.
Agradar a gregos e troianos não é o mesmo que calçar os sapatos de outra pessoa...
